Lunch Table..

Our lunch table is usually the time we'd be talking about politics, sports, anything but family issues. So whenever a crisis happens in one of the countries, you'd assume that it would be discussed at the following "lunch gathering." I don't remember there was a single lunch gathering without discussing football for the last month. Surprisingly, it was a mutual ground for discussion between almost everyone who sat on that table.

Its a critical time in Lebanon nowadays. Part of my family are in Lebanon and the other are in Syria. In the "old good days", in order to reach Syria from Lebanon by car you'd have to come across "army stations", "headquarters," and it was normal to see a soldier walking on the street armed and few in cars. I wonder how would it be today.

The worrying part is that it would be difficult to go to Syria considering the situation now. Two, people are somewhat trapped in Lebanon for the time being. So we'd just pray that all our families and the rest are safe and sound there.

That table that joined us all for once is now empty...........until they come back again.. :)

I miss them.
