Bye bye Arcoxia?

Those who are using Arcoxia am sorry to tell you that you will have to find another medicine for Arcoxia seemed to be having the same side effects as Vioxx !!

For those who don't know what am talking about.. don't start by giving me this clueless look.. 9abrkom 3alayeh.. ! :p

Vioxx was a magic pill that was given mostly to arthritis patients and those with inflamations and swellings.. it was an amazing pain killer and so was Arcoxia..

Vioxx was proven to have side effects such as heart strokes and so forth and was pulled from the markets... and lately Arcoxia which comes from the same "medical family" has proven to have ALMOST the same side effects.. !

The interesting part is that it really is a good pain killer .. trust me.. i tried it couple of times and it was just amazing ! Mom used to be so dependant on it for she suffers from inflamations and swellings and Arcoxia or "el tofa7ah" as she called it used to be a God sent gift to her ! El tofa7ah laneh shakl il pill is like an apple .. now this apple seems to be the apple that sent Adam to the earth ! (metaphorically btw) ;)

The trial of 34,701 patients, presented today at the American Heart Association
meeting in Chicago, found that those given Arcoxia had the same rate of
cardiovascular complications as diclofenac, a decades-old therapy that reduces
inflammation. The study also found more patients stopped taking the Merck pill
because of high blood pressure
