dreams..

Dreams…and nightmares…

A trip to fairly land or maybe a trip to a prototype of hell…

I remember when I was a child I used to have a nightmare of a scene in a cartoon… the rainbow brite…that scene only used to freak me out regardless how much I used to love the cartoon.. last time I had that “nightmare” was few years back…I wonder why am I not getting it anymore…does that mean am detached from my childhood memories…”sign of age” tsk tsk tsk

I don’t really remember my dreams once I wake up…but some of them would be so funny I just wonder what was in my subconscious mind that triggered such “scenes”…

Do you ever get those dreams where you’d be walking and suddenly you trip…you actually literally move your legs like you were about to fall…?

Or do you get those really sweet dreams as if you are walking in charlie’s factory where everything is so perfect and nice…a dream that would make you wake up with a smile? (hardly been having such dreams :p )

Sometimes I dream of Hollywood scenes…kickboxing and shooting and all of that violence…but to tell you the truth…I don’t remember I ever woke up with the satisfaction feeling of “yes I hit him so badly” !!! there was a dream where I wanted to slap someone and every time I tried to slap him I’d just end up slapping the air…now that’s a dream that really irritated me !! :p

Sometimes I’d dream of people from nowhere…numbers…faces… or sometimes I’d dream of those least expected to be in my thoughts…

Many of us take our dreams so seriously… some people would actually call those who interpret the dreams in order to know what does it mean and they base their decisions on it…I am not against it…but I am against the fact that they do it on almost every single “weird” dream they get… there are good reasons for interpretation of dreams and the most important is if it is after an istikharah…

من توكل على الله فهو حسبه.... …….

Well… few thoughts after a dream I had : )

Dream theories excuse me freud and your friends for i couldn't agree with many of your theories..
Definition of Dreams in Islam: (i liked the site so far)
Dreams are broken into three parts according to the Sunnah:
Ru'yaa - good visions (dreams)
Hulum - bad dreams
Dreams from one's self

Abu Hurayrah narrated Muhammad (S) said, "There are three types of dreams: a righteous dream which is glad tidings from Allah, the dream which causes sadness is from Shaitan, and a dream from the ramblings of the mind." (Sahih Muslim)
A Last Dot:
When i thought i was over you ... you came to my dream !
