How do you know its the new season..!?

First of all مبروك عليكم الرحمه even though ma shfnaha.. it rained today in many other places than DUBAI !!!! ( why am i not surprised ) el mohim..


At school they taught us that spring comes with colorful flowers and lovely weather... followed with summer where the sun is high and its usually hot…then comes autumn where the place seems to be soaked in a brown paint…and leaves start falling from the trees and the air is crispy…then comes winter where few tiny particles fall from the sky called snow and the place is covered white.. !!! But in reality... unless you were in some other continent you’ll notice the FOUR seasons... with us... you are lucky to notice TWO!

How do you know it’s a new season:
1. Of course…duh.. the temperature starts dropping.. !!!

2. Extra expenses spent on “longer sleeves”!!
Actually the weather is cool enough nowadays in the morning to wear a long sleeved shirt... by the time its 2pm…find anything to rip off that sleeve… and by the time it’s the afternoon…well tough luck... your sleeves are ripped off…start cursing yourself :p

3. The garden would be mowed more often…
The mother and people will want to enjoy the weather by sitting in the garden and then they will realize that their garden hasn’t been mowed for quite a while…

4. Extra gardening tools will be bought...
Trying to make the garden look better and to hide all the shrubs

5.Price of motorbikes will increase… reaches its maximum by mid to end of December just before the mid year break
Of course by now you’d know that it’s a “norm” to go motor biking in the desert when the weather is nice... tal mer3ib watch out... for those freaky fearless guys are on their way to you!!
As a result of the above, the prices of maintaining those bikes will increase quite a bit too… so if you were planning to buy a RAPTOR do that NOW! (la tada3 al for9ah tafootk.. eta9l alaaaaaaaan.. )

6. prices and sales of tents will increase
a7la shai youm nerti7il !! I remember when we were kids we used to go to this place in the desert and spend the mid year break there... people still do that, if they didn't go for trips they would usually have the tent in front of their house ..

yerta7loun w yakloun.. mashai sh’3l wala mash’3alah !

8. kastana (chestnut), sweet potatoes will be flooding the market..

9. barbeque items will be displayed closer to the shopper’s eyes :p .. which might seem to have an increase in prices too

10. goum dawr 3ala 5eshab: el 3youz mb men 5athha men tfachach menha.. so you bought the tent.. you should buy all the other stuff... and especially WOOD! go find a guy fil 3zab ybee3 5eshab !

11 Car accessories: of course those who bought the Raptors will have to buy all the “complimentary” stuff such as the galoo9ah… trailer…safety kit…turbo…etc etc… that means.. if he doesn’t have a 4x4 car ra7 feeha wela she7at men rab3eh :p otherwise goum seer w dawr w rakb galoo9ah .. !


I love this season so muchhhhhhhhhhhh…

Just remember…
1. when it rains run for the buckets and towels and wear boots to cross the roads if you were in Sharjah/Ajman and RAK !

2. wear your helmet when you are on the bikes (its not that I do.. but you know.. it would be better)

3. When you are in the car, don’t sit in the back seat if you are in the desert…your head will suffer (bumping into the unknown)

4. When you are by the fire… burning marshmallow.. . get your empty bottle of water and slowly keep it beside the fire… and see how the plastic will melt (kids don’t try this .. its dangerous.. PG18 :p )

Enjoy those days… enjoy the rain inshallah .. enjoy the desert…the beach and sky… make different creatures from the clouds…they sure can be freaky sometimes…
