......imagine.....
Imagine if there was a rule that prohibitted the use of "females" in advertisements...
advertisements should be "sex free" : in other words it shouldn't be sexually oriented (AXE people you're gonna go bankrupt)
it should totally convey the real product's features and benefits... (don't start brainwashing people with facts that do not exist and taking advantage that the country you are advertising in does not have a law that supports customer benefits & rights YET)
basically there should be a little bit of ethics and a lot of creativity in the advertisement business..!!!
I wasn't surprised to see an AXE ad that was exteremelly sexually oriented.. what surprised me was the fact that it was done by the "dubai office" so i wondered... will i ever see that advertisement in newspapers and magazines and somewhere in the middle of the road.. I HOPE NOT ! i don't deny the ad itself was very creative... but .... you can assume the rest..
Now there was an interesting study which i want you to read (of course if interested)
In the research, men and women were shown Sex and the City, featuring explicit insights into the lives of four female thirtysomething New Yorkers, or Malcolm in the Middle, a sitcom about an American family. The two programmes were chosen because they were very similar in style and length, and neither contained canned laughter, which could have been distracting.
During the ad breaks the test subjects were shown a range of up to 12 sexual or non-sexual advertisements for CDs, beer, fragrances, hair products, spirits and mobile
phones. They were then asked to recall details of the advertisements.
Both men and women recalled far fewer details about both types of advert when they appeared in Sex and the City. The researchers said why this happens is not
clear. Viewers may be so engrossed in the programme that they are annoyed at the
interruption and pay less attention. Another theory is that the sex programme is
more involving, making recall of interruptions less likely.
We are already clustered with advertisement daily.. an average of more than hundreds of advertisements are exposed to us on a daily basis... at least let us enjoy a good ad..
Say you had to advertise for..lets assume one of P&G's products.. any detergent or shampoo.. do you really need a WOMAN to do that !! now take the "feminine" factor out of your calculations.. don't you think the advertisements would be more creative? they'd start finding NEW ways to promote their products that have been totally used with the same concept of advertisement and same message.. !!!
That was just a simple suggestion..
Few ads ...
Freshly made angel hair.Gondola Veneziana Italian restaurant.
Knorr Fish Cubes...
Now tell me why don't we see such ads and have to suffer with the Knorr MAKAYNOISE bla bla bla حياتي بدونك سلطه
I loved it !
nice...!

tadreen aneh in iran, since they prohibit the use of actual adult females for ad's, 8 yr old kids r used instead? they put the makeup on them o kl shay and photograph them for their ad's.. i think that might spark the creation of a love for young girls fetish between iranian men
I would say ban advertising completely. Were people not buying & selling before this media boom? I believe advertisers are ripping both the suppliers as well as the customers. They are the real beneficiaries while both the people who place advertisements & those who buy products (which most of the time they don't really need, but buy because of the constant bombardment of ads) lose money at the end of the day.
What you say?
practical utopian: if they were to use the kids for a product that is directed for kids or could have kids influence fine.. bs ineh they use them to resemble the "women".. well...NO COMMENT !
bs t3arfeen ygoolich ineh children have the second purchasing power after their mothers.. and in some products they have the first purchasing power.. in other words they can lead the parents to buy a product even if its not directed for children.. !
