When food brings millions..
How much are you willing to pay for a MEAL ..what if i told you its in one of the best hotels in Bangkok, prepared by Six three-star Michelin chefs from France, Italy and Germany .. oh and its a 10 meal course !!!!!!
The only thing that made the "normal ordinary" dishes the most expensive (1million) was the way they marketed them .. yes yes .. marketing again and again.. andddddddddddddd the amount of "drinks" they added to the ingredients.. a wine from the "ice age" (just kidding here) but because they used expensive wine .. it added value to the dishes.. read what they have to say about their ingredients and tell me whether they did not use "proper marketing " :p
Little expense was spared in putting together the event, titled "Epicurean Masters of the World". The ingredients were flown in fresh: black truffles, foie gras, oysters and live Brittany lobsters; caviar; Jerusalem artichokes and white truffles from Rome. Diners sipped their way through legendary vintages, like a 1985 Romanée-Conti, a 1959 Château Mouton Rothschild, a 1967 Château d'Yquem and a 1961 Château Palmer, considered "one of the greatest single wines of the 20th century," according to Alun Griffiths of Berry Bros & Rudd, the St James's wine merchants which procured and shipped them. The wine alone cost more than £100,000, he said.

We would prepare the "chammi with scented dehn" translated: cottage cheese with ghee cooked in special homemade / handmade spices that were grounded using the traditional methods..
along with that, we shall have the traditional seasonal salad which is a seasonal salad made from "hemmadh" what is it translated for.. basically its those green little "semi grass" that grows in the desert when it rains heavily and the desert turns green.. yes yes this five leaved plant that you stepped on that day.... now that is a one in a life time occasion because we only see this plant once every year... so that makes it SO VERY expensive ..it shall have the exquisite olive oil grown in al saadiyat island ORGANICALLY added to it

As a side dish, Falazií bread will be served with finely done mshawa in an old village in Iran - Homemade by that old lady that sat on the porch every day beside the sea waiting for her husband to get the fish.. btw.. mshawa is a kind of a fish sauce.. trust me it tastes YUMMY
the main course will be personally selected "infant goats" stuffed with rare kashews and raisins marinated in the most exclusive sauce of saffaron and spices and other "secret" ingredients .. wrapped as Al Ain citizens used to do in banana leafs in our local "tanoor" which is a clay oven dug in the ground for more than 5hours.. to give it the most peculiar smoked flavor and rich aroma.. the meshwi shall be served on more than 30 layers of extremely fine bread = rgag- and then soaked in its gravy..
the eggs that will be stuffed in the goat are those of the "chicken that laid gold": the egg will be boiled in the gravy so it will get the saffaron's goldish color and the gravy's taste..
as for the dessert we shall have "bobar pudding" which is basically a pumpkin pudding with the most expensive cinnamon worldwide..
and not to forget the Logaymat "dumplings" done by fatmooh the very well known CHEF cross country for her dumplings dipped in the rarest debs (the extract of dates) the most exotic sauce you can imagine
Special Karak will be served as well as a refreshment.. WARNING: highly addict able

Mashallah you really are a great entrepreneur. Social Society Fund is a wonderful idea :-D
You know what other thing this whole Thailand episode shows? I think it shows that the more money you have, the smaller your brain size. It is really disgusting to see people spending so much money one just one meal when millions of human beings hardly earn enoug money to buy a decent meal.

ياختي انا احب الأكل..استمتع بالأكل اللي طعمه حلو .. ونحن أكلاتنا تشي فيها نوخه مب سويط حاطيلي garnish عليه يقصون عليه... صح شي أكلات غربيه لذيذه بس نحن نمتاز انه اكلنا فيه بهارات وبزرات يبالنا نسوي local cuisine ينافسهم

uae rebel: she passed away two days upon his arrival.. it seems she had a heart attack on the beach yet managed to crawl back home.. that is how they knew .. they followed her track.. and she was there lying peacfully on her .. bed.. few months later they found the falazi bottles stacked in their dungeon underground.. that is what made it SO VERY EXPENSIVE ;)

DG: you so made me laugh out loud when i read "the more money they have the smaller their brain size" lol i wonder how small is Bill Gate's .. but they would explain they spent such money because the money went for a charity purpose but helloooo.. it still doesnt make so much sense..
