what's better.. having ur mom right next u with all that this entails : P or missing her day and night : (..

beautiful lines indeed.. u know.. it's said that Omar ibn al5a66ab may allah be pleased with him used to be harsh.. and that he burried his little daughter a life and that she she tried to remove the sand.dust of his face as he did.. donno how this is related..

i have a dream fahmeh 3alaik..
the reason i wrote that wasn't only mom.. actually mom had a partial "input" but yesterday was a roller coaster day.... whenever something happened i'd tell myself.. well they hurt out of love..

Rosh okay my translation skills are so very bad..
the poem i had posted was an old poem...it starts by saying something which is like "i curse you out of love.." Practical Utopian said she'll find a better translation for it...
anyways.. the point is.. sometimes we say words that have a painful effect on those we love without us realizing that they are hurt.. and in some cases we know we hurt them.. but that doesn't really change our love towards them...

when i was a child and one of my parents would lecture me.. they woudl always say the first lines of the poem.. indicating that they did that out of love but they don't really enjoy the lecturing and all.. so we grew up with this.. it was like a good reason to say something harsh from time to time and if asked you'd be say.. well u know if u weren't special to me i wouldn't have said it.. something like that..

the point is..

we can accept pain from those we love...cause we know their intentions.. but there is a limit..

okay that is a very quick reply.. will be back with a further detailed one..
